UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel
Please be advised that UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel was superseded by UETDRMP007 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel in October 2022. St John WA will continue to train and assess the superseded unit of competency until the transition end date.
This course covers the performance of rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus. It includes responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels, adherence to safety practices and how to provide CPR to a non-responsive casualty.
Who this course is recommended for
• Electricians.
This course includes online learning and practical training and assessment. Completion of online learning must be done prior to arrival at the class
You must arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time for screening and hygiene procedures.

Course Requirements
This course requires basic skills in language, learning and literacy. You will need:
• A valid USI to be issued certificate upon successful completion
• A basic understanding of spoken and written English
• The ability to write English and complete a form
• The ability to count and identify numbers up to 100
• The ability to navigate a computer or mobile device
Physical Fitness
A basic level of physical fitness is required to complete this course. The class contains regular floor-based activities. Reasonable adjustments are available for practise, but you must complete assessments on the floor to pass.

Refreshing Skills
St John WA follows ARC Guideline 10.1 Basic Life Support Training which recommends all those trained in CPR should refresh their CPR skills at least annually.

Requirements
Students must be deemed as competent in HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation prior to commencing UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel unit of competency.
The HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation Unit of Competency standard requires a level of physical ability to meet the evidence requirements for assessment. You must be able to keel on the floor to perform CPR for an extended period of time.
