Main duties and responsibilities of First Aid Trainers
- Deliver a high quality training program
- Ensure that appropriate lesson plans are followed in all courses
- Ensure that all student assessment procedures are thoroughly prepared and students are aware of assessment requirements
Skills and Qualifications of our First Aid Trainers
- Hold a current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (TAE40110 with units TAELLN401 or TAELLN401A and TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B)
- Previous experience in a training environment
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate (or ability to obtain if successful)
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain if successful)
- Valid “C” or “CA” class drivers licence
- A passion for first aid and educating the community
