Main duties and responsibilities of First Aid Trainers

  • Deliver a high quality training program
  • Ensure that appropriate lesson plans are followed in all courses
  • Ensure that all student assessment procedures are thoroughly prepared and students are aware of assessment requirements

Skills and Qualifications of our First Aid Trainers

  • Hold a current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (TAE40110 with units TAELLN401 or TAELLN401A and TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) 
  • Previous experience in a training environment
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate (or ability to obtain if successful)
  • Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain if successful)
  • Valid “C” or “CA” class drivers licence
  • A passion for first aid and educating the community
